Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm Lori Barbely, an Orlando wedding photographer who also does a ton of travel photography! Destination wedding anyone? I absolutely love what I do and am blessed with amazing clients who become great friends.

I’ve been a terrible, no good, very bad blogger lately. Life has been crazy (in the good kind of way!) and I’m juggling a number of projects that are keeping me busy. Next week I head off to Hawaii to do some shooting and speak at a photo festival. And maybe, just maybe, somewhere in there, spend some time on the beach.

Long story short (too late!) the blog will be on hiatus until early September. Look for some fun wedding and travel posts then. Till then, enjoy the rest of your summer!

Samwise :: Dog portraits in Orlando

I big puffy heart this little dog (though I’m not sure how he feels about me since he peed on me after we were finished shooting – haha!). Samwise is a “chorkie” which kinda sounds like something you’d cough up, but in reality it means he’s a chihuahua/yorkie mix. He was a whopping 1.6 lbs when I shot these. He’s since doubled in weight but don’t let him fool you, he’s a big dog at heart.

I took this from another blog because it’s Friday and I’m too brain fried to post anything of substance.

I am…obsessed with etsy.

I think…too much.

I should…exercise more.

I dream…BIG!

I want…a black and white dark room and the time to actually use it.

I know…what I know if you know what I mean.

I don’t like…coconut.

I smell…like vanilla.

I hear…crazy cats chirping while they play with their toy mice.

I usually…can’t sleep the night before a trip.

I search…for the most bizarre random crap on Google.

I miss…the Gilmore Girls. Damn you Amy Sherman-Palladino!

I always…overpack.

I wonder…what the next couple of years will bring.

I crave…chocolate and peanut butter. Is there a better combo?

I remember…when there were music videos on MTV.

I need…a hammock, a palm tree, and a drink with an umbrella in it.

I forget…uh…something. What was it?

I feel…pretty, oh so pretty…

I can…procrastinate with the best of them. And still get everything done!

I can’t…stand copycats.

I am happy…when spending time with my family and friends.

I lose…very little. I’m a little OCD.

I sing…off key. Which is why you’ll never find me doing karaoke.

I listen…to my iPod all the time.

I shop…like an Olympian.

I eat…just about anything.

I love…my life!
